A community leaderboard built one verified rating at a time. Named farm oysters identify their grower; broader place names are marked as growing-area profiles. The displayed score is the raw community average; ranking order also accounts for how many people have rated each oyster.

How ranking works

A great score needs more than one vote.

We use a weighted average with a five-rating confidence constant. That keeps a single 10 from jumping immediately to first place while the community is still small.
